What an amazing fundraising event by Little Lights Haven Orphanage in Antipolo, Philippines right here in Kitchener-Waterloo. KW Sentro was humbled to be part of the program. We sang Mambayu (a Kalinga folk song), Dandansoy (a Hiligaynon folk song), and Sarung Banggi (a Bikol Harana). Please help this great cause with a donation. The link can be found in the comments. Dear KW Sentro community,
Due to unforeseen circumstances and budgetary constraints, the KW Sentro Board of Directors have decided to cancel the upcoming Filipino Cultural Gathering and Symposium this year.
Though this might come as a disappointment, we look forward to hosting the 3rd Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) & Asian
Canadian Music Education Gathering in Toronto in July of 2027.
Thank you for your support thus far and we look forward to seeing you soon.
