What started off as a haunted house doodle turned into this. Sometimes your subconscious and pen go off on a journey of their own.
So much fun.

Lunchbreaks are great for sketch exercises. Limited time to come up with an idea and work.

"Phantom Crossing". The original sketch was a random doodle that I just kept adding to over the course of a couple nights. I really liked the final image so I re drew it. This is the 3rd and final version. Pen (Micron and dip pen) and ink 17" x 14" on Strathmor Bristol

Night shift lunchbreak is a perfect time to practice and try out techniques. I never feel any pressure to finish anything in these sessions, but some have turned into full pieces.

Lunch break doodle. I don't draw superhero's too much anymore. Here's Wolverine, well, what left of him. This could be zombie Wolverine or Wolverine healing after one HELLUVA beating. You decide.
