The Waterloo Institute for Hellenistic Studies, in association with the Hellenic Heritage Foundation, is pleased to announce a new lecture series, which will annually feature a distinguished international Greek scholar.

Join senior Greek scholar Professor Kostas Buraselis as he explores the ancient and modern relevance of the Battle of Marathon.

Pergamon and the Hellenistic Kingdoms of the Ancient World This exhibition will bring together more than 265 exquisite objects that were created through the patronage of the royal courts of the Hellenistic kingdoms, with an emphasis on the ancient city of Pergamon.

On November 10 representatives of several organizations which nominated Mr. Nick Aroutzidis of NA Engineering as "National Philanthropist of the Year" met in Stratford to celebrate the occasion. As always we certainly appreciate all that Mr. Aroutzides has done for WIHS and we ask you to join us in congratulating him in this and all of his other philanthropic endeavors.
