An intimate venue for all of life's little celebrations The Little Stone Chapel is the perfect venue for weddings, celebrations, and workshops, offering personalized planning and inclusive events to make your special moments memorable.

This special edition of Handmade Hangouts invites you to slow down, make something beautiful, and come together for a meaningful cause. Proceeds from your ticket will provide direct help such as grocery gift cards and essential baby supplies—like diapers, wipes, and formula—to local families navigating challenging seasons.

DIY Project: Pressed Floral Framed Art
For this spring workshop, you’ll create your own pressed floral framed art piece in an 8x10 frame. Absolutely no experience is needed. This is a relaxing, easy to follow project perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike.

Whether you come to create, connect, or give back, you’ll leave knowing you’ve helped make a real difference in our local community.

This weekend, two incredibly special people tied the knot in the very first wedding ceremony at the Little Stone Chapel. I truly couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple to work with. Paiten and Tae — you were wonderful from our very first messages right through to the final moments of your day. I will forever be grateful for the trust you placed in me to host such an important milestone in our little chapel.

A heartfelt thank‑you to your officiant, Daniel, to DJ Rob, and especially to your phenomenal photographer, Cierra of Hematite Images. Your guidance, trust, and patience made this day everything I hoped it would be — and more.

Three years ago, this was just a pipe dream. A fun idea of what this space might become. After countless hours, months, and years of renovations, planning, and convincing myself that we could truly bring this vision to life… it happened.

It really happened.

Cierra, thank you for capturing the magic of this space. I’ve always believed the chapel was special, but seeing it through the lens of someone so gifted is something else entirely.

The Little Stone Chapel is building a lineup of hands-on workshops for our community, and I’m looking for talented individuals who would love to teach a class in a beautiful, cozy, stress-free space.

Do you offer any of the following?
✨ Textile arts such as macramé, needle felting, embroidery
✨ Succulent terrariums, floral arranging, or seasonal wreaths
✨ Gentle yoga, meditation, or mindfulness
✨ Watercolour or acrylic paint nights
✨ Charcuterie or cupcake decorating
✨ Polymer clay or other jewellery making
✨ Candle or soap making
✨ Any other creative or wellness workshop!

If you love sharing your craft and have dreamed of hosting a workshop without the stress of planning, promoting, or managing logistics… this is your chance. You bring the skill — I’ll take care of the background work.

This opportunity is open to seasoned instructors, those hoping to host their first class or anyone in between!
