You may be wondering what is a Certified Paediatric Massage Therapist? It didn't mean that I couldn't treat children before getting certified, but through continuing education as an RMT it meant I received specific advanced training to enhance my skills in providing massage therapy for children. I gained knowledge of various massage techniques for working with children with varied physical, developmental, emotional and mental challenges. I also learned the many benefits and importance of individualized adaptations. I also learned methods of respectful approach, meeting children at their level and respect for their personal space.
Have you considered massage therapy for your child?

Most of the time I feel I'm getting it wrong when it comes to parenting, but then a conversation happens with my kids and I think, maybe I am doing ok.
Last night my 8 year old told me he started a running group at school during recess. He sets up running drills and exercises for his friends. All the heart emoji's right now 🙌🏻 Where did he get this idea from? Well, the idea came from him tagging along to my running group with & He was there every week and sometimes participated and sometimes just played at the park. The point is he was there and he was seeing me and others working hard, setting goals and having fun!
It just reminded me that setting a good example sometimes can be more impactful than most other ways we try to get our kids to make good decisions. From the way we talk and treat others, to the way we feed our bodies and our brains. Remember,
they are watching and listening and taking notes.
