This job will be fun and programs will be run from the Wallace Recreation field. The position involves a variety of community programs aimed at getting kids and adults active and exploring their creative skills!

Thank you for a very successful fundraising campaign for the families affected by the fire in Wallace. Together we raised a final total of over $16,000!! Amazing!

This concludes WADA's involvement in raising funds for the fire at Aquashell. Any future donations should be sent directly to Aquashell.

Stayed tuned for the development of a permanent committee established for future community needs under the title of Wallace Area Relief Fund (WARF). Volunteers are needed for this very worthy committee. If interested, please reach out to WADA.

Reminder that WADA's AGM is set for March 2nd, 2026 at 7PM and everyone is welcome.

Happy New Year!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the fire relief effort. We have raised $11,140.55 and donations are still coming in….. amazing 🤩

If you are still looking to donate, please do so by January 4th, 2026. The fire relief volunteer committee will be concluding this campaign so the funds can go to the many families affected by the fire.

All donations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt while also supporting local needs. A win win!

WADA is a registered charitable non profit volunteer community organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Wallace and surrounding areas. WADA maintains the local lighthouse, welcomes newcomers, decorates our community, collaborates with other local groups in offering programs and events for social and educational development as well as, advocates government departments for safer communities, tourism and business development opportunities. We meet the 1st Monday of each month at 7:30pm at the Wallace museum. Next meeting is January 5th, 2026 and everyone is welcome to attend. Together we can do incredible work!
