Those boots tell a story.

Some belong to the contestants who've spent months practicing, traveling, and putting in the work for a chance at eight seconds of glory.

Some belong to the volunteers who have spent countless hours planning, organizing, setting up, and making sure every detail is ready before the first gate swings open.

Some belong to the stock contractors, vendors, sponsors, and everyone else working behind the scenes long before the crowd arrives.

When the sun sets over the arena, it's easy to see the lights, hear the music, and feel the excitement.

What you don't always see are the hours, days, and months of hard work that got us there.

These boots may be covered in dust, but every scuff, scratch, and muddy footprint represents dedication, tradition, and a shared commitment to keeping rodeo alive.

Here's to the people behind the scenes, the people in the arena, and the community that brings it all together.

This year at the George Holm Memorial Team Penning Friday July 31 2026 we will be awarding the fastest Youth team with Memorial buckles! Junior or Senior.
Dad always knew to keep a sport progressing it needed new young people to join and love the sport too
There is also $2000 added prize money to kick off the start of Holmdale Pro Rodeo weekend!!

Rodeos aren't built in a day, and they're definitely not built by one person.

The Holm family has been operating Holmdale Farms since 1874. The Holmdale Rodeo began in 2024 to celebrate their 150th anniversary.
