Wainwright-Lloydminster Boxing Club

June 19 & June 20 classes will be cancelled due to the wainwright stampede. Youth class is welcome to come do a make up Monday at 6:00pm. And beginners Monday @ 7:00 pm.

We are looking for instructors to join our team.
BJJ
and Kickboxing.

Hey. A few things .
1.So Alberta boxing has an AGM meeting June 07th. Our club is appointed 2 votes. Any registered athletes or coaches can attend the AGM. There will be many things to discuss with boxing Alberta, and they are looking to fill many positions. President's, vice president, coach manager positions, etc. if anyone wants to chime in on the AGM I can send a zoom link. It's always good to get new perspectives on a lot of issues which we will be discussing.
2 . Stampede Kick off. June 17th.
We will be setting up a booth and a boxing ring bouncy castle. I will be asking for volunteers to help man the booth or referee the bouncy castle. There will be sumo suits. Jousting, large boxing glove options to choose from. Be a fun event if you wish to volunteer. We only need to set up a booth. The castle is set up by the rental providers. Be a fun evening.

3. The Bumper to Bumper golf tournament. June 12. Also looking for volunteers to hang out at the golf course and assist me in running out station at hole 17 at the WAINWRIGHT golf course. We will be serving drinks . (Should come up with something special) And have some sort of challenge to make our station memorable. Looking for ideas.

If anyone is interested in helping out at our tents let me know.

We will postpone sparring today. All our competitors should take a break after all the hard fights from last weekend. Youth class will still happen @ 2:00

With Gold gloves happening this weekend, we will be cancelling classes. Will be back Monday.
