Job description:
Tire Technician
We are looking to fill an important vacancy for a local retail tire and mechanical store.
He or she will be responsible for the following duties:
Installing, balancing, rotating, & repairing passenger, light truck and commercial tires;
Installing & repairing agricultural, industrial & OTR tires;
Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner;
Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS);
Maintaining tire service equipment on a regular scheduled basis;
Completing specialty wheel & tire work;
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Excellent customer relationship skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to lift 25 kilograms;
Basic computer skills;
Valid driver’s license;
Experience is an asset but training is provided.
