Want to give yourself a beautiful gift this holiday season? Join The Welcome Mat for our “12 days of Wellness” challenge!

Each day for 12 days (December 12th - Dec 23rd), we will send a morning email to you with your ways to wellness for the day! In order to help you find your own little piece of “peace on earth” you will receive in your inbox each morning:

♥️ a theme for you to focus on for the day (a quality/ virtue to commit to practicing as you interact with yourself and others throughout your day).

♥️ a yoga pose or flow (along with a description of its benefits) for you to take for a few minutes at some point throughout the day...hold this pose, take a few breaths and allow your mind to clear, your body to benefit and to the pose to give you what you need.

♥️ a wellness task to complete aimed at helping you build health, wellness and strength (may be physical, mental or emotional).

We encourage you to take photos to celebrate yourself and your accomplishments and post them on social media- be sure to tag us and/ or use the hashtag . You can also email us these celebrations if you’d like. This is completely voluntary:)

This holiday season, listen to what your child (and you) needs. There is no shame is redefining what traditions look like. This should be a time to celebrate, not a duty.

⋒ It’s okay to say no
⋒ It’s okay to leave early
⋒ Bring a familiar or preferred meal
⋒ Set up a quiet space
⋒ Watch for sensory triggers and provide breaks as needed
⋒ There are no need for hugs or greetings if your child can’t
⋒ You don’t need to apologize!
