Quality Control Inspector

Full job description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ABSA regulations and standards for pressure equipment, from design to in-service inspection
Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of all quality records and assistance in the creation of final turnover packages.
* Completing torque reports
* Dimensional inspection, receiving inspection, visual weld inspection, pressure test witness & inspection, paint coating inspection
* Reviewing and dating MTR’s
* Reading and interpreting drawings
* Receiving material
* Creating weld-maps, NDE–maps, final dimensions & orientation checks, and reviewing job specifications
* Follow and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) or Travelers
* Maintain constant communication with Operations Manager, Project Supervisors, Fabrication Supervisor and Quality Control Manager
Qualifications:
* CWB Level 1 Certification
* H2S Certification
* First Aid
* Fall Protection
* Valid Class 5
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

We received some very bad news on Friday. A long time member of our work family fell ill and was taken to Edmonton ICU where she fights a battle with Cancer. Denise has been the face of our work family for 12 years, and her smart-ass wit and original one-liners have always made her a customer favorite. She is one-of-a-kind and she is truly irreplaceable.

Denise is fighting while surrounded with the love of her two daughters and her husband Dave by her side. As many of us know, the cost of staying by a loved ones side can escalate quickly. Hotels, meals, parking, loss of income, etc. add up quickly so we are looking to alleviate any additional stress by helping out how we can.

Please join us Thursday, June 5th for a charity BBQ. Also, please follow and keep an eye on this page as in the coming days we will be posting silent auction items that you can bid on. All silent auction items will be uploaded as they come in. Winning bids must be received by June 9th at 4:00 pm.
