This exactly… I see so many AI sales ads and flyers popping up everywhere lately. Use it for fun? Sure but please don’t use it to market your horse or use it as a stallion flyer option.
What are your thoughts????

Let’s talk a little bit about AI and horse pictures since AI is all the rage right now.
I work with AI pretty much daily at my big kid job, and it is pretty amazing technology!
What we need to realize tho, is what it is and what it isn’t. Using AI to edit pictures seems like a no brainer. This winter I even tried it with the idea of just doing a different background. With the help of a friend noticing something on the pictures I had “edited” and then doing a little more research, I quickly realized with AI flat out telling me, that you are not just changing the background. AI is not taking the exact horse from your picture and putting it on a new background. It’s recreating the horse as it sees it. The horse could look better, could look worse. It can be very subtle where you just think ok hey it just cleaned up the picture, fixed the lighting…but it’s not your picture no matter how close it looks. It is not the same as editing in photoshop.
So it’s a bummer, but you will continue to see real pictures from us, maybe not the best background or lighting or whatever, but it will be the actual horse. Sure I’ll try to fix lighting when needed or possible but it won’t be done with ai. Will I do a fun Christmas picture or something, well of course! But that will be the extent of it.
Here is an example I just did today to use as an example. The horse actually looks worse in the AI image. Different angles on the horse, legs set differently. I then asked it how it did it, and you can see the answer in the pictures too.
Hope this helps! I’m just seeing more and more pictures that are extra nice, or stallion fliers and people may or may not understand how it works.
