Families with little ones ages 0–6 are invited to join us for our last Beaver County East Stay & Play of the season tomorrow, June 19, at Viking Alliance Church from 11 a.m. – noon!

Come out for one last morning of fun, connection, and community before we take a break for the summer months. We’ll have:

🎨 Fun crafts and activities
🧸 Active play for the little ones
🤝 Parent resources and family support

🌟 Celebrating the Guiding Stars in Our Community! 🌟

Over the past few months, local Grade 4 students have been taking part in our Guiding Stars Mentorship Project, exploring the importance of healthy, supportive relationships and reflecting on the adults who help them learn, grow, and shine.

After thoughtful conversations and activities, each student selected a trusted mentor, someone who has made a positive impact in their life, and wrote them a heartfelt letter of gratitude. Those mentors were then invited to a special breakfast celebration last week, where students had the opportunity to share their appreciation and present them with a Guiding Star pin.

From teachers and coaches to volunteers, neighbours, and community members, the morning was a wonderful reminder that even small acts of encouragement can have a lasting impact on a young person's life.

Thank you to all of the mentors who help light the way for our youth, and to all the incredible community volunteers and service providers who make this project possible! ⭐
