On the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, we honour the memory of the women who lost their lives in the École Polytechnique tragedy, as well as all those affected by gender-based violence. More than three decades later, we persist in our efforts to create safer environments in workplaces, educational institutions, and homes. Today and always, we stand with individuals nationwide in demanding an end to violence against women everywhere.

Kudos to our Public Works members who keep us safe when the weather turns nasty! 🥶 💨 🌧️ ❄️

Today we remember those who never came home, and those who came home forever changed.
We honour their courage, their sacrifice, and the generations who carried that loss.

Great news from our friends at UNITE HERE Local 40! After over 40 days of being locked out, their employer Coast Victoria Hotel has returned to the table. Congratulations on this victory friends and best wishes for a productive bargaining session.
