Recent road trip to Portland NSW Australia with the pit master and Was awesome to see some of Australias finest on display in this nice little town. So many handpainted signs everywhere and Australian signwriting alive and well. Dobellbros oz tour 26 🍻🤘

I remember receiving a message from an artist who had spotted some of my work that I had posted on a Pinstriping website called pinhead striping lounge.
That was my introduction to Ryan Yeomans. We shared photos and information about our craft. We finally got to meet up a local bash that was hosted by jb auto in Victoria bc Canada. That day I met a friend for life.
An extremely talented and humble guy who was happy to share knowledge with anyone who wanted to learn. My brother Stu and I would go on to host local pant nights where Ryan would show up and blast out killer prinstripe panels, enjoy the odd beer or 2 with us and talk about his idols. We hosted a meet in 2017 with 40 plus sign, Pinstriping and airbrush artists traveling from all across Canada and the USA. Ryan was so excited to be apart of this event and hanging out with the guys we looked up to in the magazines and online. I don’t think he realized he was one of those guys.
His work on the kisbee rings for the department of national defence are show stopping, his dedication and determination to practice daily showed in his work. He was a killer drummer and even sang. We all got invited to many meets by ry guy wouldn’t fly. Shame as he would have loved those meets but he was happy to stay on the island and spend time with his wife, kids and grandkids. I miss him showing up for paint night weekly, calling me to see if I’d seen the latest Devey, Burt or Harry truck and let’s try doing that next jam. I miss him asking me if I had prepared a panel for that nights paint session only to give me that look when all the background paint would peel off as soon as he pulled the tape off. “You didn’t sand the fu***ng background did you??” Miss the beers, bu****it, friendship and will cherish everything you taught me. I am very proud to be able to keep your legacy alive and share your stories with new and old friends. A year has gone way too fast since you left us but you will always be remembered. I wanted to share some of Ryan’s amazing work and memories of great mates in the industry he admired. Looking back I wished I’d taken more photos. Miss ya buddy! 🍻🤘
