It’s blue-bead lily season 🌱✨

So overjoyed to capture this fine art print of a blue-bead lily alongside its friends 🥰.

This time of year is one of my favourites. Between bunchberry, star flower and these gems, there’s always something beautiful to set your eyes on 💚

It was just me, my dog (cedar🐶) and the mosquitoes 🦟

This time of year I’m outside exploring as often as possible. Seeing these plants again was like greeting longtime friends you haven’t seen in a while. I have missed them and was happy to brave the new mosquito hatch to be able to spent time with them. 🌿

It’s very important to me to get my art photographed with its subject matter. It takes extra time and planning (and knowing the right plant spots) but for me it’s worth it 💚

This print has been getting so much love lately and it makes me so happy 💙

It showcases the incredible life cycle of the blue spotted salamander which is honestly pretty awesome inspiring. With the start of warmer weather I have been keeping my eyes peeled for amphibians but not luck yet! Be sure that’s I’ll let you know once I find some !

In case you missed my story a couple weeks ago, this is what is currently on the easel 🎨

I have been battling a bit of a creative rut lately 😮‍💨. I often have so many ideas and projects on the go but had to take a little step back to recharge and centre myself ❤️

This piece will be the next on in my wildflower series, the pink lady slipper 🌸. My goal is to get this one done in time to photograph the final piece next to the blooming flowers (mid June usually depending on location!).
