The Westshore's first circus school and company! Aerial classes, acrobatics, shows, and more! The Rising is a circus school located in the vibrant Westshore.
It is owned and operated by Sarah Scheunhage, professional aerialist, acrobat, and circus teacher . We offer recreational to pre-professional aerial and ground-based discipline classes and workshops ages 18 months - adult. We also provide corporate and private aerial entertainment and host circus parties for any special event you'd like to celebrate ( birthdays, bachelorettes, etc). Our Facility:

LYRICAL HOOP WORKSHOP WITH CHLOE

âMy Future In Flightâ teen aerial camp this past week at their final performance with Coach Lily.
Students trained daily for 2.5 hrs on aerial hoop, conditioning, flexibility with a few extra fun activities thrown in to give their hands a break đ
The main focus was on learning a full length act and working on timing, presenting emotion and movement quality.
Well done girls!
Our next teen camp with a focus on aerial hammock runs Aug 10-14⌠it is currently full but put your teen on the waitlist if youâd like to try to get a spot!

We make the circus school your childâs hang out place for the nite while parents get a nite off or out!! đ
Time: 5:30-9:00pm
Date: Sat July 25, 2026
Cost: $35 +tax per child
Movie: Wonka
Drop the kids off with us for 3.5 hrs of circus, fun, and friends!
We start off with warm up games to blow off some energy, then 90 minutes of supervised open play on the circus equipment. To wrap up the night, we grab our pillows and/or stuffies and curl up on the mats to watch a movie projection. Popcorn will be served during movie.

Our âClown Car Picnicâ visited Vic West Elementary School today.
We couldnât have asked for a more enthusiastic audience đđđ
The show was followed by a Q & A with the children plus an interactive station where we taught plate spinning and flower sticks.
It was a delightful time and as one little audience member told us- âwatching the show made her feel good đ ââŚ. And thatâs just what the circus should do!!
