BC budget 2026! Tough! One more week to leave my current position. Thanks everyone for your support and guidance!

This is my first year attending UBCM in Victoria for the full week. It has been busy, supporting media at the Victoria Conference Centre. I had the opportunity to connect with reporters and observe how the event unfolds behind the scenes.

Overall, it gave me valuable insight into how large-scale conferences are managed and how media relations play a key role.

Recent - Prime Minister Carney visited BC last week and met our Premier.

Time Flies, I already in this role for half a year. Thanks everyone for your kind support and encouragement.

A new start for me to go. 🇨🇦 I wish to change another way to serve the people and to help the people.

卑詩省選將在今年10月19日舉行，今日與官方反對黨的卑詩聯合黨黨領馮宜幹 (Kevin Falcon)進行訪問，就省內犯罪率，司法制度及交通基建計劃進行討論。

Had an interview with Kevin Falcon, the leader of the opposition, we talked about crime rate, transportation project etc.

美國前總統特朗普，昨日美國東部時間下午6:30許，出席位於賓夕法尼亞州巴特勒的一埸競選集會，期間有人在大約200米一個高處向他開槍。特朗普隨即蹲下，並由多名特勤局人員掩護下離開演講台。他被送往當地一間醫療機構治療，之後證實右邊耳朵被流彈擦傷。槍擊案造成兩死，包括槍手，20歲來自賓夕法尼亞州的男人克魯克茲，他也是共和黨人，另外一名死者是參與集會人士。

美國總統拜登，昨晚提前結束在特拉華州的行程，隨即趕回白宮，聽取特勤局人員，以及特勤局隸屬的國土安全部人員回報，拜登也與特朗普通電話，又強調美國容不下這種暴力。

槍擊發生一天之後，特朗普離開新澤西州，乘飛機飛抵威斯康星州，出席星期一召開的共和黨全國代表大會，將會接受正式黨內提名，代表出選11月美國總統大選。特朗普再在社交網站發文回應槍擊事件，他呼籲國民團結，又稱原先考慮將行程推遲兩日，但不能夠容許計劃被打亂陣腳，所以決定預期出發。

至於調查方面，美國聯邦調查局正從本土恐怖主義及企圖暗殺方向調查事件，總統拜登今晚再發表全國電視講話，下令獨立檢討。同屬共和黨的眾議院議長約翰遜表示，將會傳召特勤局、聯邦調查局和國土安全部出席聽證會。

多國領袖亦都作出譴責，聯合國秘書長古特雷斯，還有美國的盟友，包括英國、法國、德國、澳洲和日本的領袖，均譴責事件及慰問特朗普。

另外美國富商馬斯克也公開之前特朗普競選，形容特朗普是繼老羅斯福之後最強悍的總統候選人。有分析認為槍擊案有助特朗普選情，能夠團結美國人。

每年三月至四月，都會是櫻花綻放的季節。今天工作於娛樂，去到溫哥華耶魯鎮(Yaletown)林思齊公園(David Lam Park)，觀看開幕儀式，日本駐溫哥華總領事亦在同一場合。

很有趣的是，每年日本都會贈送100棵櫻花樹給予這個公園，讓一家大細可以坐在草地上觀看以及野餐。🇨🇦🇯🇵

溫哥華的朋友，除了這個地方有得觀看之外，列治文Gary Point Park 亦都是不錯的選擇。

[BREAKING NEWS] 聯邦移民部長菲沙(Sean Fraser) 在加拿大東岸時間早上九時就香港人俗稱救生艇計劃發表重要講話。

加拿大聯邦政府決定延長救生艇計劃，當中開放式工作簽證將會由原本2023年2月7日的截止申請時間延長兩年至2025年2月7日，並且擴大原本計劃令過去10年內畢業的香港人亦都能申請。

[Update] 聯邦移民部長，將會在加拿大東岸時間2月6日早上9時，就香港俗稱「救生艇」的臨時移民政策作出更新宣布。

加拿大聯邦政府在2021年6月為香港人提供兩個主要通道日後取得永久居留權，分別透過學生簽證（Stream A) 以及開放式工作簽證 (Stream B)。由於開放式工作簽證將會在2023年2月7日截止申請，而較早前一直有不同民間團體以及本國國會議員，希望聯邦政府延長有關截止日期，甚至取消「五年內畢業限制」。

聯邦官方反對黨，保守黨黨領博勵治(Pierre Poilievre) 促請聯邦自由黨政府移除救生艇多個限制，包括將畢業限制推前到2009年以及取消良民證。而聯邦新民主黨黨領駔勉誠（Jagmeet Singh) 亦都就此提出關注。

Hi There🇨🇦I finally got some long holiday in these recent period of time. It is because my great friends came here from Hong Kong and have the vacation here. We went to many places in BC and they feel satisfied and enjoyed the moment here. It was some awesome.

And today, we went to Richmond Night Market to explore the night activities in BC and the weather was just very nice and comfortable and I would highly recommended all of you to go this place
