Shoutout to the young artists at Eagle View Elementary for sharing their climate inspired art with us at the Beat the Heat Retrofit fair last weekend!

Youth Open Mic Night
At the View Royal Community Hall
Friday June 26th, 6 - 8PM

This free community youth event invites performers ages 15-18 to share their talents. Are you (or your teen) a singer, poet, or musician? Come take the mic and show off your skills!

Honouriums are provided for performers, thanks to the CRD Arts and Culture Ideas grant. Snacks and sodas will also be provided.

While we appreciate wanting to support your youth, this event is for them and we kindly ask that no adults make plans to attend. We will have VRCA staff as chaperones.

The community is invited by the View Royal Climate Coalition to this free event to chat with experts about saving money and making their homes more climate resilient.

There will be family fun! Win prizes - including a kids swimming pool. Enjoy hotdogs by donation, and a colouring table for kids.

📣 We’re Looking for a Treasurer! 💙
The View Royal Community Association is seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join our team and help support our growing community.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive local impact while helping oversee the association’s finances and community initiatives.

As Treasurer, you’ll help with:
✅ Budget tracking and financial reporting
✅ Managing association accounts and records
✅ Supporting community events and projects
✅ Helping ensure transparent and responsible financial practices

Bookkeeping familiarity is a strong asset, though not required. Meetings are held primarily in person, with hybrid participation options available when needed.

Please note: due to our association bylaws, applicants must live or work in View Royal.

Voting is restricted to residents and business owners of View Royal. Membership is required to vote, and you can sign up that evening before the AGM begins. It only costs $5 for the year and we will accept cash or e-transfer.
