So, I find this a difficult task, BUT... I'm getting in yer grill again. 😜 Ryan's ride! It's coming up soon! August 23rd! Citizen has raised $1,760 and we REAAAAAALLY want to get that to $3000. The whole Opportunity International Tour De Vic team is trying to get to a grand total of $100,000!!!!
Just so you know, (I find this inspiring), $150 provides a loan for a woman in Nicaragua...that loan, part or all of YOUR donation, is later paid back by the client and then re-loaned about 3 times year to different women! This is the foundation of liberating people, families and entire communities from the cycle of poverty.

TDV 2015-Fighting Global Poverty with Microfinance Ryan's riding the Tour De Victoria. 140 kms! And it's not just to say he did it or to get rock hard quads. :) In all seriousness, he's doing it to raise money for entrepreneurs, not unlike himself, who simply cannot otherwise escape the cycle of poverty.

Here are some official pics that just came in from the triathlon that Ryan was in back in May (their was crazy delay in getting them from the company that supplies them). There's a great shot of him coming through the finish line at 2:59 hours - his goal was to finish under 3 hours!

Next on the list of physical feats is the Tour de Vic coming up on August 23rd! Money is coming in bit by bit in support of the clients of Opportunity International (opportunityinternational.ca). Every dollar donated goes toward financing an entrepreneur oppressed by and stuck in the viscous cycle of poverty. Every single dollar goes toward helping people find their own freedom and pass it on to their children and community!
