June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the achievements of the 2SLGBTQI+ community and recognize the ongoing importance of advocacy, inclusion, and belonging 🏳️‍🌈

Many Indigenous communities have long recognized and honoured people who today may identify as Two-Spirit. While teachings and roles vary among Nations, Two-Spirit people have often held important cultural, spiritual, and community responsibilities.

Join us in celebrating the contributions of Two-Spirit and LGBTQI+ people and reflecting on the importance of creating spaces where all people feel seen, respected, and connected.

Happy Pride and Indigenous History Month!🧡🌈

Pride Month provides an opportunity to learn about and honour Two-Spirit voices, histories, and perspectives.

While experiences differ across Nations, many Indigenous communities have long recognized diverse gender identities, roles, and responsibilities.

Yet many people are still learning about the meaning and cultural significance of Two-Spirit identities.

Join us on June 25 for 2S Inclusion: Honouring Two-Spirit People in the Workplace and Beyond.

Together, we'll explore the meaning and cultural roots of Two-Spirit identity, its significance across Indigenous Nations, and why these perspectives matter today.

Featuring Kathleen Sawdo and guest speaker Mallory Solomon.
