🤡 FUNDAMENTALS is a beginner-friendly 3-day intensive exploring presence, play and being seen without needing to perform. Participants are invited to slow down, listen and notice what happens before trying to be funny, clever or “good.”

🤡 DEEP DIVE is a 3-day intensive that supports performers in building and shaping material that stays responsive and alive. Previous clown or performance experience recommended.

Our guest artist tonight and tomorrow is The DeviANTS: a multidiscipline multimedia collective collaboration kick-ass co-op!

The DeviANTS often work with Victoria’s own Delusional Theatre Society, creators and producers of the legendary “Derwin Blanshard’s Extremely Classy Sunday Evening Programme”. The DeviANTS created and performed “THE GREAT BIG SHOW”, at the McPherson Theatre in 2018 and have been writing and performing together ever since.

The DeviANTS are currently working on a new theatrical presentation with Delusional Theatre and the Garth Homer Society. Tony is a creator and performer. They will be performing in Montreal, Winnipeg, and Edmonton this summer, so if you know people in those cities please send them to Tony.

🐴 CLAIRE DIAMANT 🐍
Claire is known as Southern Vancouver Island’s Joan Baez. Don’t fact check that. Everything she does, she does for her homosexual cat.

🐴 ALEX TAYLOR-MCCALLUM 🐍
Alex is a Kwakwa̲ka̲'wakw & Nuu-Cha-Nulth creative-native artist of many mediums who was born and raised upon lək̓ʷəŋən Territory (A.K.A the City of Victoria). He is a Hip-Hop lyricist and M.C who performs under the alias of PINDN and his favorite place to be is… In the woods.

🐴 MORGAN CRANNY 🐍
Morgan likes making people laugh whether it be improv, sketch, standup or even farts. He’s done many things for money and many things for free. Morgan has been part of AV since 2006. When not making people laugh, he makes science in the government.

🐴 ANDREW BAILEY 🐍
Andrew Bailey is a Victoria based writer, performer, and published author who has worked with Atomic Vaudeville, Blue Bridge Theatre, Phantom Signal, and many others. Watch out for his new show “Bad Stoic”, coming soon.
