We are a regional hub of Ocean Week Canada, led by a dedicated collaborative group made from local organizations.
We strive to help people learn, protect, and celebrate the beloved ocean Oceans Week Victoria is a volunteer initiative to bring our wider community together around World Oceans Day to raise awareness and turn it into positive actions to protect and restore our shared ocean. Weekend 2 is about to begin! 🌊🦀
🤿Saturday morning there is snorkeling happening with (Please register with them beforehand)
🦆Also Saturday morning you will find a guided bird walk at Island View Beach Regional Park
Until 4 on Saturday will have an interactive exhibit in the Inner Harbour
🎨Artist will be doing a live painting and then digital auction down at the Parkside Hotel until 4
🎤A marine-themed poetry & artwork night will be happening down at from 6:30-9
🦑Then Sunday we’ve got the annual World Ocean Day celebration happening at Beacon Park from 11-3
