Shift Breathwork Collective
Dedicated to supporting you to overcome exhaustion, stress & overwhelm & to reclaim health, energy, clarity & to feel like yourself again.
What if one of the most powerful things you could do for your health & well-being was also one of the simplest?
Walking is one of the most underrated ways to support both your mind & body.
🌿It can reduce stress & support mood, energy, focus, sleep, nervous system regulation, as well as metabolic & cardiovascular health.
🌿 A morning walk, with exposure to natural light, helps regulate your circadian rhythm & can support better sleep.
🌿A short walk after eating can help moderate the rise in blood sugar.
🌿 Walking in nature provides additional benefits for stress, mood & attention.
You don’t need to carve out a lot of time for a long walk.
Taking a few short walks throughout the day can deliver many of the same benefits & can break up periods of sitting.
Walking is a wonderful reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t always have to ask so much of you.
Wishing you a few moments today to unplug, connect, move & breathe.✨
What benefits do you notice from walking?
🔁 Repost & share to remind someone how much a simple walk can do for your mind & body.

How often do we find ourselves searching outside of ourselves for the answers,
when the truth has been with us all along?
It isn't about fixing ourselves or becoming someone new,
It's remembering who you've always been.
There is an inner knowing that exists beyond expectations, opinions,
& who the world has taught us who we should be.
A voice that we may have learned to silence, but has been quietly calling us forward.
When we connect in stillness, breathe, & soften,
We open to the truth within.
To hear the quiet voice that reminds us we’re capable of more than we’ve allowed ourselves to believe.
The voice that calls us back home to ourselves,
To alignment,
To remember who we are, beyond the noise.
To remember our truth.
To remember our wholeness.
If you quiet, go inward & listen, what is your inner voice whispering to you?
What may open up for you if you trusted yourself & stepped into your truth?
🔁 If this was the reminder you needed to trust your inner voice, repost or share as someone else may need it as well.
➡️ If this spoke to you, you’ll feel at home here. Follow along. I’m so grateful to have you here.

Do you struggle to make new habits stick when life already feels busy?
It’s not laziness or a lack of discipline.
The answer isn’t more willpower or force. It’s creating the conditions that make positive change easier to sustain.
If you’re trying to make positive changes in your life, you don’t have to change everything at once or overhaul your life.
When life is full, it’s about finding small ways to integrate new behaviours into your day, making them more achievable & easier to maintain.
Start with one small change.
- A few minutes of movement.
- A short breathwork practice.
- Preparing healthy food ahead of time.
- Leaving your yoga mat out where
you’ll see it.
Small changes may seem insignificant, but with consistency, they can support meaningful change.
Perhaps as importantly, consistency & honouring yourself doesn’t only change your routines.
It changes your relationship with yourself.
Every time you show up for yourself, you build self-trust.
Every time you repeat that behaviour, you build confidence.
Over time, those repeated actions begin to shape how you see yourself, and shape your identity.
Gentle reminder, the goal isn’t perfection, or trying to doing it all.
It’s about creating the conditions for small, consistent practices that you can integrate into your life.
I’ve set up my weights where I almost trip over them to cue me & make them easily accessible.
I’d love to know, what strategies do you use to support your habits?
📌 Save this post to come back to if you struggle to make sustainable change.
🔁 If this resonated, repost or share it with someone who could use the support.

Do you ever notice how taking time for yourself can feel harder than taking care of everyone else?
“I feel guilty for resting” is one of the most common things I hear from the women I work with.
It isn’t a personality trait or flaw. It’s often something that’s been learned.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that being productive,
putting others first,
or constantly achieving made us feel more accepted, valued, or safe.
Over time, those experiences can become beliefs.
And when those beliefs are repeated often enough, they begin to shape how we see ourselves,
what we believe we’re worthy of,
and how we move through the world.
Beliefs like:
* I have to earn rest.
* I ‘should’ be getting more done.
* I should prioritize everyone else’s
needs.
* Taking care of myself is selfish.
* If I slow down, I’m falling behind.
* My worth depends on what I do or
achieve.
When those beliefs are running in the background, even taking an hour for yourself can leave you feeling guilty.
Fortunately, learned beliefs can be questioned & rewritten.
Each time you notice one of those thoughts, question it, & choose a different response; resting, honouring a boundary, or meeting your own needs, you’re providing evidence to reshape that belief.
With repetition, those experiences help strengthen new neural pathways & reinforce new beliefs.
As those beliefs begin to change, so does the way you see yourself.
When your worth is no longer tied to constant doing, rest no longer feels uncomfortable or like something you have to earn.
It becomes an act of self-care instead of something you have to justify.
Gentle reminder, you don’t have to earn your rest sweet friend.
You have to remember you are worthy even when you rest & allow yourself to receive it.💛
If you reflect, what story do you notice comes up when you slow down or try to rest?
🔁 So many of us struggle with resting, repost or share to remind others they are worthy.

What if the peace you’re searching for isn’t found in holding tighter, but in letting go?
We’re taught to push harder, strive, fix, & we grip onto certainty.
Yet it’s often in letting go that we find ourselves again,
and open ourselves to liberation, ease, & possibility.
So often we hold on to so much: the past, old stories, conditioning, & perceived limitations.
We feel the pressure of perfectionism, comparison, & maintaining control.
We carry the weight of fear, guilt, shame, hurt, & unworthiness.
Often, the sunk cost fallacy keeps us feeling stuck, we convince ourselves that we’ve invested too much to change or let go.
We hang on too long to situations & relationships that no longer serve us, or that keep us playing small & tied to the past.
Detachment & letting go doesn’t mean a lack of caring.
It means honouring yourself enough to release what no longer aligns & stepping into your truth.
Letting go may initially feel like a loss, but it’s also the door to liberation.
When the weight falls away, space opens for renewal & the possibility of what lies ahead.
When we release attachment, we create the capacity for peace.
Faith is our grounding, opening us to all that is possible.
When we let go, surrender, & step forward with aligned intention, we find clarity & peace.
In that space, we find ourselves again, open to liberation, & possibility.
Imagine, what could open up for you if you let go, surrendered & took that first step forward in faith & alignment. 🌿
If you reflect honestly, what’s one thing you’re holding onto that no longer aligns with the life you’re desiring to create?
📌 Save as a reminder that growth & liberation lies on the other side of letting go.
🔁 Repost or share with someone who may be holding on to what is holding them back.
🫶🏻 Follow if you’re ready to embrace more clarity, peace, and alignment.🌿

How often do you think about the impact of the way you breathe?
Most of us don’t.
Breathing is one of the few things your body does automatically that you can also consciously control.
The problem is, many of us develop dysfunctional breathing habits without realizing it, & it takes a toll.
We may breathe rapidly, shallowly or high into the chest, breathe through our mouth, or inadvertently old our breath while concentrating.
Dysfunctional breathing can contribute to feeling anxious, on edge & make it harder to recover from stress.
In turn, stress & anxiety can influence the way we breathe, reinforcing the cycle.
The good news is that breathing habits can be changed.
Functional breathing isn’t about taking bigger breaths.
It’s about breathing through your nose, allowing your breath to gently expand into your lower ribs, slowing your breathing, & breathing gently & quietly.
The next time you notice yourself feeling stressed or anxious, I invite you to slow down & notice.
✨ Are you breathing through your
nose or your mouth?
✨ Is your breathing slow or rapid?
✨ Is your breath shallow or lower in #
your chest?
✨Do you catch yourself holding
your breath?
Then gently return to functional breathing, & notice the shift as you slow your breath.
Small consistent changes can help reduce stress & anxiety, improve focus & support better sleep.
Awareness is the first step toward change.
💬 What have you noticed about your breathing when you’re feeling stressed or anxious? ↓
📌 Save this as a reminder to check in with your breathing when you are feeling anxious.
🔁 Repost or share to create awareness 🌿

What do you prioritize for supporting your health & well-being?
We often think about health in terms of nutrition & exercise, which are essential, yet they aren’t the whole story.
Your body is constantly responding to the signals it receives every day.
Sleep. Breath. Sunlight. Laughter. Touch. Movement. Connection. Joy.
Each of these influences your physiology, shaping your energy, mood, resilience, & how you feel in ways that we may often underestimate.
Yet, when life gets busy, they can often be the first things we let go of.
Exercise gets dropped.
We spend less time in the sun.
Our breathing becomes shallow.
We laugh less.
We disconnect from the people who matter most.
Joy begins to fade.
The irony is that when we are stressed, these are often the very things we need most.
Making space for ourselves & these moments helps create the conditions for greater energy, resilience, & well-being.
Maybe it’s stepping into the morning sun.
A longer hug with a loved one.
Singing along to a favourite song.
Prioritizing your sleep.
Reaching out to someone you care about.
Making space for small moments that spark joy.
Or simply pausing for a few slow breaths.
Sometimes the most meaningful way to support your health is to make a little more space for the quiet moments that support you, foster connection and spark joy. ✨
💬 Which one will you make a little more space for this week?
📌 Save If this was the reminder you needed to slow down & prioritize the moments that matter that support your well-being.
🔁 Repost or share to invite others to pause make space to invest in the supports that we so often under-estimate.
