The Rolling Stones are more than the greatest rock band ever to roam the Earth; they use music to manifest and harness spirit, energy and emotion.
The result is typically movement, dance, megafun and euphoria.
Majesties Request have somehow managed to tap into the very same rocking royal jelly that The Stones still use to this day.
On Saturday, August 17, 2024, Majesties Request blew a hole in the sky over Esquimalt Lagoon with their spirited performance of Rolling Stones favorites, old and new. Like The Rolling Stones, they cast a spell on the audience, who, unable to contain themselves, simply had to jump and shout and dance and sing and laugh.
Hats off to Majesties Request for their musicianship, endurance, dedication and rockability.
Majesties Request are undeniably a satellite powerhouse for The Rolling Stones, recreating and reimagining this special brand of rock that heals the sick, raises the dead, and lavishly harnesses the ever powerful present moment somewhere in the infinite cosmic span of rock ... and roll.
