We’re looking for a Sales Associate to join our team starting July 7.

Hours
• Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Thursday: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a minimum of 2 years retail experience
• Excels in sales and customer service
• Is proficient in English
• Is motivated, self-directed, and reliable
• Has strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Loves connecting with people and creating exceptional client experiences

I was meant to work on the floor today. Kimberly has been doing the lions share of late & deserved a Saturday off.
I just couldn’t do it.
My mum’s accident, losing her Jim, puppy not feeling well & awaiting another cancer diagnosis for my Dad has me unable to be.
So I closed the store for the day.
My boyfriend dropped me near the airport so I could run to the cottage.
I took out my sadness, anxiety & stress on the pavement & although I know my body will pay the price tomorrow, my mental health is more stable.
We took Pepper Rose down to her beach & dipped our toes in our ocean.
I sat on the seawall, counted my blessings & remembered my Nana & her reminder that this too shall pass.
I was sent home with beautiful flowers from my mummy’s garden, a sense of calm & peace.
To those who showed up at the Mode today, I hope you will come again.

Let Me Introduce Myself…

Hi, I’m Alexa — owner of A La Mode Consignment for the past 18 years.

When I’m not curating beautiful finds for the shop, you’ll find me spending time with my boyfriend of 36 years, our two fabulous kiddos, and our puppy at the cottage or travelling the globe.

I love running, good conversation, making goody bags and music of all kinds. My playlist can jump from Yungblud to Eminem, AC/DC to country without missing a beat.

I’m fiercely protective of those I love, sometimes to a fault!

I love my Mode, our incredible clients, creating beautiful experiences, and being part of this amazing community.

And if you read my newsletter, you already know I was a bit of a pistol growing up. I still have a mischievous streak — just enough to keep life interesting.
