Vardo: noun (also wag(g)on, living wagon, van, and caravan) is a traditional horse-drawn wagon used by British Romani people as their home. Possessing a chimney, it is commonly thought of as being highly decorated, intricately carved, brightly painted, and even gilded.

Need an extra bedroom in your driveway or want an extraordinary camping experience? Rent our funky camper "Vardo." It can be towed with a small truck or SUV, or we can deliver it and set it up for you.

The "Vardo" is 20' long and 8' wide. It has a comfy queen sized bed and 2 smaller beds, which can be used by children or smaller adults.

Amenities can be described as "rustic," which include a small sink, a one burner camping stove (bring your own butane or purchase from us), and a composting toilet. There is a plug from the battery, which can power small things like phone charger, lamp (already in the vardo), or coffee grinder. A small pot, frying pan, and kettle are in the cupboard, but you will need to provide all your own linens, personal dishes, and consumables.

There is a fridge, microwave, and toaster available if the vardo will be set up in a site with power. Plenty of storage space is available for all your camping toys and gadgets.

Rental rate is $75 per night, and delivery/set-up fee is $2 for every km away from our home address in Victoria. Other fees may be added for additional items with agreement. Our rates do not include any fees that your campground or RV park may charge you.
