A day like ForUs doesn't come together on its own — it takes a village of local partners, and we had a good one.

Last week we closed the office for ForUs — and it was worth every hour away from the desk.

It’s two days. Thursday started with a 7am swim at the lake, then book club and movement, and chair massages from Compass Mobile Therapeutics back at the office. Friday we spent the whole day out in the forest and a barn, learning how to lead — and live — with joy and purpose.

ForUs began in 2018. We were already hosting a day of learning for our clients through our Forum, and realized our own team deserved the same: a chance to step back, learn, and grow together. We’ve held it in some form every year since.

Time away like this isn’t time off the work — it’s how we come back sharper for the people we look after.

Grateful for these two days, and for this team.

A quick heads-up: our offices will be closed this Friday, June 12.

Once a year we close for a day we call ForUs, when the whole team steps away from the day-to-day to learn, connect, and grow together. It started back in 2018, out of a simple idea: we already host a day of learning for our clients, so why not one for our team?

We’ll be back to regular hours on Monday. If something urgent comes up while we’re out, our after-hours line is there for you as always.

We had a great time at the UDI Capital Region golf tournament last week.
A fun day, great people, and a well-organized event.
Thanks to everyone involved in making it such a strong experience.

The 3rd Annual Glow Gala was a beautiful evening of connection, creativity, and support.

We were grateful to be part of an event that helped raise awareness and funds for the incredibly important work Victoria Women's Transition House does for those impacted by intimate partner violence.

It was moving to see so many people come together in support of a shared vision: communities free from intimate partner violence.
