Dog For Life

Dog For Life Original rescues and finds homes in Canada for dogs from Puerto Vallarta .
Dog For Life is a very small non-profit rescue group who work and live in Puerto Vallarta and Victoria. Dog For Life differs from other, larger rescue groups in that we personally work with each dog in Mexico and are part of their entire journey from the shelter in Puerto Vallarta to their “furever” homes. We take great care in ensuring they are well and placed in the best possible homes. Last year March 2020 when pandemic was hitting we started a feeding program to help the strays and also help feed to dogs whoes families could not even feed themselves let alone their dogs . Volunteers went into communities weekly supplying dog food for 7 months. Currently we are still filling feeding tubes daily to continue one year later to help feeding the dogs ..
Summer hss a flight November to Victoria
🐾 PLEASE OPEN YOUR HEART TO SUMMER 🐾🌸
Meet Summer, a beautiful 2.5-year-old medium-sized girl from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, who is patiently waiting for the family she can finally call her own. 💕🐶
Summer weighs 8.5 kg and is a wonderfully active, playful, loving, and sweet girl. She has so much personality and so much love to give. ☀️🐾❤️
💔 SUMMER’S STORY 💔
Summer was found in San Vicente, Nayarit. The person who posted an ad about her, claimed that they had just found her and were looking for help.
When we went to pick Summer up, we discovered the heartbreaking truth: she actually belonged to the people who posted the ad. They simply no longer wanted her and were trying to give her away.
Summer was essentially abandoned by the people she trusted to love and care for her. 💔
She didn’t deserve to be discarded. She deserved someone who would look into her beautiful eyes and promise, “I will never give up on you.” 🥹🐾❤️
Thankfully, Summer now has a second chance. She is safe and being cared for, but what she truly needs is something we cannot give her at the shelter—a forever family of her own. 🏡💕

Since arriving, he's been showing his happy, social side, but he's also still learning that the world is a safe place. A little nervous at times, Baloo just needs a bit of patience and a lot of love. Once he feels safe, he'll melt into your heart with his affectionate nature and soft, trusting eyes. Baloo is ready for a calm, loving home where he can continue to grow in confidence and be the cherished companion he was always meant to be.Baloo is a sweet and affectionate dog who enjoys being close to his people. He's calm by nature and prefers a relaxed lifestyle over rough-and-tumble play. While he enjoys companionship, he isn't interested in playing very much and would rather spend his time relaxing by your side.
Baloo would do best as an only dog in the home, and with a female, as he tends to be more comfortable in that setting..
If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a gentle soul, Baloo could be the perfect match for you.❤️
