Until June 20th all the proceeds of the sale Jack’s books will go to the Island Kids Cancer Association Island Kids Cancer Association , a small, frontline charity that helps the families of Vancouver Island children who have been diagnosed with cancer.
The timing is linked to the June 16-18 End2End End2endcancer relay, which will see a team of cyclists ride from Victoria to Port Hardy and back non-stop to raise money for IKCA.

What a way to end our 30th anniversary season! Last night, more than 90 people gathered at Russell Books, with another 20+ joining us on Zoom, for a spectacular evening with Susan Musgrave and Jonina Kirton. And a stunning open mic!
The room was full, the readings were extraordinary, and the sense of community was palpable.
As we close the season, I'm feeling deeply grateful. This year alone, Planet Earth Poetry featured 85 poets, plus another 20 of our own exceptional poets in our PEP Volunteers reading. That's over 100 voices sharing their creative work. It's an honour to serve this series.
Thank you to every featured poet, every open mic poet, all of our superb volunteers and board members, our weekly audiences and Zoom attendees, all of the publicists and publishers who send us poets, everyone who donates their time, energy, expertise, and money (thank you for all of your generous donations!) in support of Planet Earth Poetry. You all helped make this anniversary season so special. Poetry thrives in community, and what a beautiful community we have.
Thank you for showing up for poetry. 🙏
