Back in April, Sufia set up a lemonade stand and raised $80 in support of the animals in our care. With summer arriving, she decided to do it again and raised an incredible $100! 😲🤯
After dropping off her donation, Sufia enjoyed spending some time with the chattiest cat in the world, Polly.
Thank you so much, Sufia, for your kindness, generosity, and dedication to helping animals. Support like yours makes a real difference, and we're so grateful to have such a compassionate young animal advocate in our community! 💚🐾

💛🦝🐰🦔🦆🦉💜
A baby songbird found on the ground. A seagull with an injured wing. An owl struck by a vehicle. An orphaned fawn with nowhere else to go.
Every day, wild animals find themselves in situations they can't survive without help, and that's where BC SPCA Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre (Wild ARC) comes in.
Their team provides expert care to thousands of injured and orphaned wild animals each year, giving them the opportunity to heal and return to the wild where they belong. It's an incredible resource for both wildlife and our community, and many animals simply wouldn't get a second chance without them.
This raffle helps make that lifesaving work possible. If you've ever cared about a wild animal in need, now is a great time to support the people who are there when wildlife needs help most. Ticket sales close TODAY!

A big thank you to the students in the Glanford Middle School Mini X group and their teacher, Hilary Gibson, for their incredible support of the animals in our care!
After a BC SPCA school presentation, the students organized an entrepreneur fair at their school and raised $150. They also went the extra mile by fundraising in their neighbourhood, collecting an additional $68 along with much needed donations for our Centre
We are so grateful for their creativity, hard work, and compassion. Every dollar and donated item helps provide care for shelter animals and supports pets in our community who need it most.
Thank you for making such a meaningful difference for animals in need! 💚

A huge thank you to these two amazing girls from the Third Guides group for thinking of the animals while working toward a badge!
They collected donations for the shelter while selling cookies, and we are so grateful for their kindness, hard work, and generosity. Every donation helps care for animals in our shelter and supports pets in our community who may otherwise go without.
Thank you for making a difference for animals in need!

A big thank you to Bosleys Oak Bay for hosting a food drive for the BC SPCA this month! This photo is just a portion of the donations collected so far.
While this food helps support the animals in our care, it also helps the many pets in our community who access our pet food bank. For some families facing difficult times, these donations mean their beloved pets don't have to go hungry.
Thank you for helping support animals both in our shelter and throughout our community. 🤗💞

Adopted!!
Jack is a gentle, oversized cuddlebug who lives for soft blankets, slow mornings, and making biscuits like it’s his full‑time job. He’s calm, affectionate, and brings the kind of peaceful energy everyone wishes they had at home.
Jack has hyperthyroidism, but don’t let that scare you off — he takes his twice‑daily meds like an absolute champ. It’s a lifelong condition, but now that he’s stable, he’ll just need semi‑annual or annual bloodwork to keep his dosage on track.
Jack is the definition of a gentle soul. He’s affectionate, calm, and happiest simply being near his person. If you want a sweet, mellow companion who fills your home with warmth (and biscuits), Jack is your guy.
