As we wrap up another remarkable year, I want to take a moment to wish everyone a joyful holiday season.

In my role at the RBC, I’m reminded daily that financial plans are ultimately about people ~ their goals, their futures, and the families they support. This time of year really brings that into focus.

At home, the holidays are especially meaningful. The house is full of excitement, traditions, and the magic that only Christmas can bring. Watching my children experience the season reminds me how important it is to slow down, be present, and create the memories that truly matter.

This week, I had the pleasure of hosting a table of clients at a special dinner event at the beautiful Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria. The evening featured an insightful presentation by David Richardson, Managing Director & Head, Enterprise Strategy at RBC Global Asset Management.

David shared valuable perspectives on the evolving economic landscape, investment trends, and the long-term strategies shaping our approach at RBC. His ability to distill complex global themes into actionable insights truly resonated with our guests and sparked some great conversations around the table.

It’s always a privilege to connect with clients in such a meaningful setting and to be reminded of the depth of expertise we have within RBC.

Last night, I had the privilege of attending the Miracle Gala in support of the Victoria Hospitals Foundation, hosted at the beautiful Dogwood Auditorium at Royal Roads University.

It was an inspiring evening filled with generosity, community spirit, and a shared commitment to advancing women’s health.

I’m proud to support such a meaningful cause and to stand alongside so many others who believe in improving access to gynecologic oncology care and outcomes for women in our communities.
