This system utilizes top of the line equipment and a Canadian made lithium battery for a reliable off-grid solar setup.

We've built an expandable 12V system that allows the customer and run any 12V appliances, as well as being equipped to run all standard 120V household appliances.

Another job complete on Sidney Island! This lovely off-grid home had an outdated solar PV system that was no longer keeping up with the electrical loads of the household.

We replaced this system with:
- Schneider Electric XW Pro, 6,800 Watt Inverter/Charger
- 14x 430 Watt Solar Panels
- Midnite Solar Controller
- 24 kWh of Lead Carbon Batteries
- 13 kW Cummins Backup Generator

This new system is the perfect solution for the homeowner who doesn't want to constantly maintain their electrical system while enjoying their fantastic off-grid home.

The lead-carbon batteries are maintenance free and the generator is automatically controlled to charge up the batteries when the sun hasn't been out. The system has been sized to keep the system charged up year round.

With the quality components chosen, the electronics in this system will easily last another 20 years. The lead-carbon batteries are built to last 4,100 cycles at a 70% discharge. This means they will easily surpass 15 years of use.
