After breakfast, we drove up toward the north end of the island to check out a spot we’ve been dying to visit: The Pink Geranium.

If you love country-cool aesthetics, and beautifully curated markets, this place is an absolute dream. It’s part cozy café, part specialty market, and completely stunning. While you wait for your treats, you can even shop their super popular local merch, their custom branded t-shirts and hats make the cutest island souvenirs!

We spent the most wonderful afternoon checking out the brand new Deerland Victoria. As parents, we are always looking for spaces where our little one can fully explore, and this place blew us away. It is so clear that Deerland completely gets both the kids and the parents. 🦌

While the kids ran wild through the massive play areas, we actually got to sit back and unwind for a bit. They have massage chairs, food options, and dedicated hangout spaces to just relax. They even thought of the little things, like clean family restrooms completely stocked with the amenities you actually need when you're out with a toddler.

The afternoon was extra special because Tito B (Uncle) came along to join in on the fun. Having family there to share the laughs and explore the space together made the whole experience so memorable for our little one.

Deerland is officially open in Victoria. From the incredible pretend play towns to the massive slides for the older kids, it truly is a space built for the entire family to enjoy together.

Let’s be real: no road trip is complete without a massive, over-the-top donut. Billy G’s Doughnut Shop (📍 2310 Alberni Hwy, Coombs)/ is the ultimate treat stop for the whole crew. The donuts are huge, fresh, and exactly the kind of messy, delicious fun that makes a family drive memorable.

We grabbed our box and headed outside, because watching a toddler tackle a donut the size of their head is pure entertainment. It’s loud, it’s sticky, and it is 100% worth the stop!
