Celebrating new life ❤️

I’m a big fan of black and white portraits. Editing styles change with trends and as photographers grow however black and white images remain timeless.

For this set up I’m using a 45” octa for fill and a 36” parabolic for key. Shot in the clients lunch room with a portable studio set up 😁 Great bunch of people from .yyj and creative brief from .

This shoot documented him creating a screen print design in his studio for Fernwood Coffee.

I mostly shoot with strobes, not because I don't like natural light but because strobes give me total control over the light.

This was shot on a dull grey afternoon inbetween showers during the winter. Nice soft fill and a hair light make all the difference.
