Another busy day on site today, and we absolutely crushed it! 💪 forgot a bunch of photos but here is what we got.
We had two vanities fully replumbed and hooked up on two different job sites, knocked out a long list of odds and ends, installed another door, finished up trim work, caulked and trimmed a shower, and kept pushing each project closer to the finish line.
We're slowly but surely catching up... one day at a time, and it's great seeing so many jobs coming together.
Tomorrow is another big one! We'll be siding an addition we recently built, tackling a big dump run, and wrapping up the flooring on one of our heritage renovation projects.

Busy day on site today! 💪
We got the new tub surround installed and everything hooked up, poured self-leveler in the main bathroom to create a nice flat surface for the new flooring, removed the vanities from both bathrooms, laid the office flooring, and got the ensuite bathroom flooring installed.
Kevin was out in Westwold putting the finishing touches on the shingle roof (still waiting on some photos 📸), while Kerry was in Salmon Arm and on Middleton getting the drywall prepped and ready for paint.
Another productive day in the books, and we're one step closer to another beautiful finished renovation. A huge thank you to all of our amazing clients for trusting Slattery Services with your homes—we truly appreciate the continued support! 🙌

Busy day on site today! I had to make a trip out to Lumby for an emergency insurance repair, where we got the tub reset into place and everything prepped and ready for boarding.
Meanwhile, Seth and Stevey absolutely crushed it on another project, getting almost the entire rest of the house floored. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab photos before wrapping up for the day, but the progress has been incredible.
Days like these keep us moving from one end of the Okanagan to the other, but we're grateful for every opportunity and every customer who trusts us with their homes. The schedule is packed, the days are long, and the work keeps coming—but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Another busy day on site today! We got all the old flooring removed, the tub removed and the new one set in place, and made great progress getting new flooring installed. On top of that, we managed to fit in several more quotes and consultations, which has us looking at a very full schedule for the remainder of the year. 😀
We never take that support for granted. Every call, message, referral, and opportunity to work on your homes and projects means the world to us. Watching our family business continue to grow is something we're incredibly grateful for.

Happy Father’s Day

Behind every early morning, every late night, every call answered after hours, and every project completed, there is a reason why we do it.
For us, that reason is family.

Slattery Services was never just meant to be a business. It was built with our last name because it represents something much bigger than construction. It represents our family values, our integrity, our reputation, and the legacy we hope to leave behind.
One day, I hope my children can look back and say they watched their father build something from the ground up not just with tools and hard work, but with love, sacrifice, and the desire to create a better future for them.
Maybe one day they’ll choose to carry the Slattery name forward and continue what was started.
The houses we renovate, the decks we build, and the projects we complete are important, but the memories we make, the lessons we teach our children, and the family we come home to at the end of the day are what truly matter.

To all the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and father figures out there thank you for showing up, working hard, and loving your families every day.

Another busy and productive day for the Slattery Services crew here in Vernon! 💪
Today we wrapped up the drainage system on the addition we completed, getting 2 yards of drain rock installed along with a new perforated drainage line to ensure everything is protected and built to last.
We also helped out a local strata by repairing their entryway sign, completed some roof repairs by replacing shingles that had blown off another strata building, and tore out and rebuilt a small retaining wall.
On top of that, we had 1,400 sq ft of flooring delivered and ready to go for our big project starting Monday, and we put the final touches on the deck we started yesterday, creating a beautiful little outdoor space for a wonderful customer to enjoy.
Days like these remind us how much we appreciate our incredible team, amazing customers, and everyone who continues to support our growing local business. The days are long, the schedule is packed, but we genuinely love what we do and take pride in every project we get to be a part of.
Now it's time to put the tools down, recharge, and enjoy a well-earned weekend with our families. We will be back at it Monday morning and ready to tackle another busy week ahead! 😀

Busy day on site for this wonderful customer! The framing and layout are all complete, and all the deck boards are installed—except for 8 boards I didn’t account for in the waste factor during my square footage calculations 😂.
We’ll be back tomorrow morning for a quick finish to button everything up, but we’re already extremely happy with how it turned out 😀 Even better, the customer loves it too!

Busy day again today across multiple sites.
Seth wrapped up our Kelowna project, while we got the other half of the roof in Westwold ripped off and the majority of the underlayment installed. We’ll be back at it tomorrow to finish the remaining sheeting and cut in the ridge vent to ensure proper ventilation.
Mike finished up the casing and baseboards over on Middleton, putting the final touches on another project.
Tomorrow we have a smaller project that we’re really looking forward to — building a little deck for an amazing client so she can have her own peaceful oasis to sit, relax, and enjoy a good book away from the hustle and bustle of motherhood.
Days like these remind us that every project, big or small, makes a difference in someone’s home and their daily life. We’re grateful for the continued support and trust our clients place in us.

Another busy day in the books and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Seth and Stevey headed out to Salmon Arm where they laid flooring in a kitchen, redid the casings and trim around three windows, and painted a new fascia board to match the existing skirting.
Mike was up on Middleton Mountain installing new cork underlayment and vinyl plank flooring, while I was out in Westwold tearing off a roof and getting everything prepped and ready for new shingles.
To top it all off, the day finished with the Chamber Business After 5 event. Long days, multiple sites, and lots of moving parts, but we’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our amazing clients and community.
Watching Slattery Services continue to grow is something we don’t take for granted. We appreciate every message, every referral, and every opportunity to work on your homes and projects.
The days are busy, the hours are long, but we truly love what we do.

Busy, busy day for the team! Seth and Stevey got this retaining wall prepped and ready for drainage and drain rock, and also made great progress on the flooring at one of our bathroom renovations. The tile is finished, the shower is hooked up, and it’s looking absolutely mint.

I was off to Kelowna plugging away at another project we are getting close to wrapping up, then back to Vernon running around to three different sites. Our drywaller has also just started another project for us. We managed to grab some photos today, but definitely not all of them!

Tomorrow we kick off a big project out in Westwold, the guys are headed back to Salmon Arm, and Mike is back on site at Middleton Mountain.

Yes, we are busy… but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are incredibly grateful for the trust our customers continue to place in us and proud of the team we are building. Lots of exciting projects on the go and plenty more to come.
