The La Rocca Memorial Society is hosting our Annual Recipients Dinne on July 8 that the Venetian Banquet Hall in Vaughan.

ALL RECIPIENTS ATTENDANCE IS FREE! Additional guests are welcome to attend at a ticket price of $60 per person. Alumni are also invited to attend at a reduced ticket price of $50 per person. Your ticket includes entrance to the event, a four course meal, and more!

This past weekend, our annual wreath laying ceremony was held at La Rocca Square. The organization gathers with members of the community, members of the Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri di Toronto and government officials.

Later in the day, the National Association of Toronto Carabinieri anniversary event was held, where our treasurer, Raquel, joined the commemorative occasion. The ceremony is attended by representatives of various Italian corps, community leaders and Canadian municipal and provincial authorities.

ALL RECIPIENTS ATTENDANCE IS FREE! Additional guests are welcome to attend at a ticket price of $60 per person. Alumni are also invited to attend at a reduced ticket price of $50 per person. Your ticket includes entrance to the event, a four course meal, and more!

This past weekend, our annual park clean up event took place at La Rocca Park. ♻️🌷☀️

This year, we were granted the opportunity to plant flowers and plants to help beautify the park as part of the City of Vaughan’s Green Guardians Initiative. We would like to thank our board members and community members who joined us, and special thanks to all those who made this project possible.

The deadline for the 2026 La Rocca Bursary is tonight at 11:59pm! Don’t forget to submit your applications!

Successful applicants will have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to:
(i) altruism (selfless acts)
(i) service (caring for others)
(ili) and/or life (the primacy of life; protecting the weak and vulnerable)

To be eligible to receive the La Rocca Bursary, applicants must:
1. Be between the ages of 15-24 as of May 8th, 2026;
2. Be a resident, attend school full-time, or actively participate in a community group within the city of Vaughan;
3. Have not previously received a La Rocca Bursary.

The La Rocca Bursary consists of a cash award of $750 and a certificate of recognition. Recipients will receive an invitation to an exclusive dinner and networking event with the Board of Directors, alumni, special guests, and fellow bursary recipients.
