Meet SLPA Krupa! π
Krupa is a Wilfrid Laurier University graduate from the Youth and Children Studies Program. Krupa developed an innate desire to work with the paediatric population during her earlier years. Post graduation, Krupa specialized in Behavioural Science at Humber College after learning her love for individuals on the Autism Spectrum, and began her career as an ABA therapist. Working with ASD and paediatrics with exceptionalities really sparked an interest for the world of Speech and Language as Krupa had spent so much of her time with non-verbal individuals. Her love and passion for this field only continued to grow when she later decided to take another big leap and further her education to then pursue the Communicative Disorders Assistant program at Georgian College.
Krupaβs areas of focus include; Early Language Learners, Language Delays, Social Skills, Autism Intervention (ASD), Childhood Apraxia Of Speech and Motor Difficulties, Literacy, Fluency Disorders, Articulation & Phonology, Stuttering and AAC. Krupa is also a trained NLA clinician in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP). Over the course of her career she has diverse experience working in various different settings, some of which include; clinics, schools and community based settings. Krupa is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and is Reg. CDAAC. Krupa is also a trained classical dancer. She has been performing for over 25 years. The stage has been her favourite ground for as long as she can remember!

June is Aphasia Awareness Month π
Aphasia is a communication disorder that can affect a person's ability to speak, understand language, read, and write. It is most commonly caused by a stroke or other brain injury, but it does not affect intelligence.
This month, we recognize the strength and resilience of individuals living with aphasia and the important role that communication partners, families, and healthcare professionals play in supporting meaningful communication.
At Two Can Talk, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to connect, express themselves, and participate fully in their daily lives.
Join us in raising awareness, promoting understanding, and helping make communication accessible for all.
