QuakeMonitor® is a very economical system designed to monitor induced seismicity while hydraulic f manufactured to ISO 9001:2008 standards. of Vancouver.

QuakeMonitor™ Overview

With the current heightened concern from regulators, and the general public, over the real or perceived impact of unconventional oil and gas production operations on local seismic activity, Weir-Jones and their associates have developed a technically advanced, cost effective, and easily deployable recording system for collecting information about the induced seismicity asso

Hope everyone is staying safe, and washing their hands regularly!

This too, shall pass...

It would appear that we have the 'Big' suppliers of similar services, worried....

So, we are doing something right!

We are Reduced Carbon Footprint, or RCF™, in everything we do.

Our QuakeMonitor induced seismicity monitor has a Reduced Carbon Footprint (RCF(r)) design , so after it's gone, there will never be a trace that it was there in the first place. :)

Hi Everyone!

A little update on our QuakeMonitor (induced seismicity monitoring) deployments in Alberta; we captured a 4.0 magnitude event that occurred due to fracking in Northern British Colombia on Jully 12 2016. What is posted here is the raw data from the QuakeMonitor's GS11D geophones, along with the spectra graph.

What is impressive is that this single QuakeMonitor unit was 464km away from the event; typically, we only need to see and report events within 5km.

The top plot is from the Alberta Seismic Observatory station BRLDA located near Fox Creek; the QuakeMonitor station is performing nearly as well as an Observatory Grade seismic station.

And here is a 4.0 that occurred in Ft. St. John that a QuakeMonitor captured that was 464km away! Very impressive!

We have been busily working away on our first two deployments into Alberta; they will be up and running next week, at which point, we will have some more data to share with you!
