Thursday May 7th at 6:00PM we’ll be hosting a release/listening party for the brand-new Social Distortion album “Born to Kill”.

The goodies!:
-We will have a Limited Edition 7” featuring “Born To Kill” and “Tonight” available as a gift with purchase of the vinyl of “Born to Kill”, while supplies last
- Free Social Distortion bumper stickers & posters for attendees (while supplies last)

We will also be raffling off a 12 x 12 album cover signed by the band

How to get in:
Entry will be first come first served. We will get everyone to lineup outside the store prior to event start. At around 5:45pm, we will let everyone into the shop, then start playing the album at 6:00. The event is free and all ages (as always). The album will be for sale at the event.

People always ask “when should I line up?” and the answer is…we don’t know! So far, we have only had to turn people away from one of our listening events, but arriving semi-early is still recommended to be safe. We never know how many goodies we are getting until right before the event, so if that’s what you’re after, early arrival is encouraged!

Co-produced by Ness and Dave Sardy, and featuring guest appearances from Benmont Tench of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Lucinda Williams, and collaborative cover art by Ness and Shepard Fairey, Born To Kill is the latest installment in a remarkable catalog that spans nearly three generations.

Well…after a few hundred people asking…a shipment arrived today. Since the surprise and joy part of this is a bit dampened by the late arrival, we want to make this as fair as possible. They will be available TODAY at 6:30PM right at closing…but you have to be selected via raffle to purchase.

We KNOW more people will lineup than we have records for, so doing this via raffle seems like the most fair way to do it.

Just be here by 6:30 and have your name entered into the raffle, and we’ll do the draw right then. You have to be here at the time of draw to win, otherwise we move onto the next name in the container.
