Unfortunately Dave passed away on Graces Birthday. He took care of her at home as her cancer came back and her wishes were a small funeral as she had strong feelings on spending a few thousand on her cremation. Dad loved her to his own death with the winter he was just low on energy and the gas prices I’m sure if he was here today in his unique humour blaming his fall. As David was sent to live with his Grandpa and got to know him so closely they even took Taekwondo at the new Dojo David helped open up in Guilford proudly earned his 3rd degree black belt inspired my Dad to spend time earning his way almost to his first Black Belt. Message or leave a comment to me if you’re interested and I will give you the info. I promise it’s not just about fighting. Even I went to feel safe & be knowledgeable how to defend myself. Our experience was undoubtedly positive.
Hence this post was to honour a great Father, Mother, friend.
I also must give Frank and the super staff and amazing customers, a huge thank you for making WMW an iconic printing place and with a gold heart I must thank you all for making it a wonderful experience. Jon has also recently passed and we will be closed just in case you were not aware. Thank you all for the support. In light of my Mother’s wishes I will announce the celebration of life date to be announced.

Chewie who owns Chewies Oyster Bars and Restaurant in Kits & Downtown came in for prints today for his new restaurant venture. I got talking to him, what a fun and friendly guy. I have been to both of his restaurants and they are phenomenal with a New Orleans flare and a really fun atmosphere. Check them out for sure if you are in Vancouver.
