Bringing you homemade baked goods. On our menu are quick breads like Banana Bread, Pumpkin Bread and Tropical Bread (aka Shredded Coconut and Pineapple Loaf).

As I find new recipes, I will be expanding the quick breads that I have or tweaking existing ones like adding cranberries to the Pumpkin Bread or chocolate chips to the Banana Bread.

A long time ago in a galaxy behold Cosmic Blondies. I think the colours could have been more cosmic but I only had green and yellow food dye on hand. But overall still delicious with the white chocolate ganache and the smarties and chocolate chips.

Getting around to posting this belated Mother’s Day cake I made for my sister-in-law. This is recipe for Persian Love Cake. The flavour profile was almonds and rose water. It was topped with edible rose petals from .ayoubs and chopped pistachios.

My cousin asked me to bake something for her as payment for a souvenir I asked her to bring back for me from Japan. She asked for something chocolatety so I obliged with Chewy Cocoa Brownies. It was definitely very chocolaty and of course delicious.

Something light to usher in spring. This is magazine’s Mini Olive Oil Bundt cake. The lemon wasn’t overwhelming and you don’t really taste the time but it was a nice treat to have now that the sun is out.

Saw an opportunity to use Concord Grape jelly she had gifted me a while ago that I froze then thawed out to make One Pot Giant Jelly Donut Cake. I think I over baked it a bit but it was still yummy.

It’s been awhile since my last bake but my friend brought back some salted macadamia nuts from her trip to Hawaii. So with them I decided to make White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies. I really enjoyed this cookie as the brown butter just added to the enjoyment.

Today is my younger brother’s () birthday and he asked for a . My two year old nephew really loved putting on the toppings for his dad’s birthday focaccia.

My first bake of 2026 is Double Chocolate Chip cookie. This is a giant cookie that is packed with chocolatey goodness. Warm this up a little and it is a gooey treat.

I didn’t bake a lot in 2025 but these were my faves. These include my summer baking project of making pies from cookbook in honour of production to my annual making week cookies.

After Christmas themed focaccia with some basil pesto from public market to add some festive green. New topping this time is Sun-dried tomatoes and then my usual cherry tomatoes and potatoes. Thyme is from garden and the flaky salt is my custom salt from Tokyo. Happy Christmas Eve to one and all.
