Team Canada / Équipe Canada fell short by just 1 goal and is California bound to City of Vancouver - Local Government 's sister city -- Los Angeles. The Canadian based games are over. It's disappointing for the fans here in Vancouver but the team is still very much "in the game". Going into the Knock Out Round in 2nd place is a great achievement!

This is only the 2nd time that Canada has been in the FIFA World Cup. The qst time was in 1986! (Switzerland is on its 11th round. They first qualified in 1934.) It's been great to host the games here. Onwards and upwards, Team Canada!

🌿 Oh my! DreamWorks Animation 's Forgotten Island looks fabulous. I wish it had been released when my older children were younger. Hopefully they still might want to see it with their friends. The story line focuses on the themes of friendship and Philippine mythology.
