Arts Umbrella Open Stage Theatre Program - Free Workshop

For elementary school students going into grades 4-7 this September, 2026 Join the Arts Umbrella instructors of the Open Stage Theatre program for a creative and imaginative workshop exploring a variety of improvised theatre activities. Come and see first-hand what we do in the year-long Open Stage Theatre program and have fun collaborating with other students to create different characters through voice, movement, and storytelling.

Workshop date: June 18, 2026
Time: 3:00-4:30pm
Where: Strathcona Community Centre Senior’s Room

Summer registration is nearly here! Strathcona seniors can register for plenty of programs, including our Summer Cruisers activity program for older adults. Register for out-trips like bowling, pottery making, trips to the zoo and day trips to places like Victoria. Strathcona Youth Council is back at it with another fun youth-led event!

Bring a child or children to this fun Mother's Day planter to paint a pot and plant a flower for a special person in their life.

Limited spaces available and each child must be registered. Kids will also need a grown up to help.
