Practically Art ...combining function & beauty
"Art for art sake" is a lovely concept, but I'll take beauty AND function any day. Custom carpentry is about getting it 100% right. Furniture shopping is usually about looking for the best compromise. What I can do is sit down with you, listen, sketch, listen some more, sketch again and eventually come up with a furniture piece, a built-in piece, a re

I stepped back from some of the bigger reno jobs here in Vancouver as we obsessed with our own reno project in Whistler. Wanted to let veryone know, and particularly my Vancouver based friends and clients that things are shifting back to normal. Whistler is pretty much ready to be our Whistler place as well as a short term rental to others.

Guess it’s been a while. Been very busy this summer and business has been brisk. I’ve helped the neighbours with their gorgeous house over the years, but this year, we built them a proper staircase which was my favourite build of the season. The height the house had been raised was screaming for an extra flight and a landing. The rails and posts offer an architectural statement and invites you to climb the 16 steps. We created a semi-dry storage space underneath as well when we matched the lower house cladding.

Sorry if some of the projects are from last year, I've been so busy, these updates are long overdue. It's been a restful week catching up on my own home projects and getting back to some important promotional work. If you know someone in East Vancouver who needs my expertise, send them my way. 604-999-1217

Vancouver is a crazy place to own a home. Once you've managed to purchase one, good luck affording to fix it up. There are a lot of contractors out there and now most of them are too busy to help you.

My business is simple. Low overhead. I keep it simple and close to home. I keep myself busy on small to medium renovation/remodelling projects that most contractors would find too small or not profitable to do.

Are you busy working at your desk while your list of chores grows at home? Give me a call and I'll pay you a visit and provide you a free estimate for what I can do for you.

No longer a sideline. I've gone from dabbling to doing this full time and I am excited with the response.
