Lucerne, Amsterdam, Paris — three cities, four powerful gatherings, one continuous unfolding of the same truth.

The body speaks in patterns. And when we learn to listen, everything begins to shift.

In Lucerne, we held two distinct spaces. One with the graduating Shiatsu therapists at Heilpraktikerschule Luzern — a group standing at the beginning of their professional path with openness, curiosity, and courage. And alongside that, an intensive workshop that went deeper into the protective patterns of trauma, chronic pain, breath, posture, and nervous system adaptation. The contrast was striking — beginnings and deep dives held in the same field, both pointing toward the same understanding: nothing in the body is random.

In Amsterdam, the work became more dynamic and immediate. Protective patterns were not just discussed, but witnessed as they reorganized in real time. There was a raw honesty in the room — a willingness to meet what is usually avoided, and to discover that change is not theoretical, but physiological and lived.

In Paris, the focus shifted again into precision and relational depth. We explored the subtle architecture of holding patterns — how identity, protection, and connection are shaped through the nervous system, often beneath awareness. The work became quieter, but no less powerful.

Across all of these gatherings, the same realization kept returning:

We are not here to fix the body.
We are here to understand it deeply enough that it can reorganize itself.

What stays with me most is the sincerity of the people who showed up in each city — practitioners, therapists, and students willing to question what they know and meet human beings with more presence, humility, and intelligence.

Deep gratitude to everyone who took part in Lucerne, Amsterdam, and Paris. A special thank you to all assistants and organizers whose presence, coordination, and quiet support made these spaces possible — your work is the invisible structure that holds everything together.

This work continues to evolve. And so do we.

More is coming.

With appreciation,
Mihael Mamychshvili

What if the symptoms you’re trying to fix are actually the body’s attempt to protect you?

During my recent visit to Heilpraktikerschule Luzern in Switzerland, I had the privilege of teaching a masterclass to the next generation of Shiatsu therapists and sharing key principles from the NeuroPath Reset Method.

This video was recorded during that special time and captures some of the core ideas I teach about trauma, protective patterns, chronic pain, and the incredible wisdom held within the body.

Too often we view symptoms as problems to eliminate. Yet many symptoms are actually intelligent adaptations created by the nervous system in response to overwhelm, stress, and unresolved experiences. When we learn to understand these protective patterns, healing takes on a completely different meaning.

My deepest gratitude goes to Katerina for the invitation, the trust, and for the incredible work she does at Heilpraktikerschule Luzern in helping shape the future of Shiatsu practitioners. It was an honour to spend time with such passionate students and dedicated professionals.

I hope this video offers valuable insights for therapists, bodyworkers, healthcare practitioners, and anyone interested in understanding the profound connection between trauma, the nervous system, and the body.

After watching, I’d love to hear what resonates most with you.

Some moments feel too symbolic to ignore.

Today in Amsterdam, after my second day facilitating a workshop on Protective Patterns and how trauma shapes the body, I stepped out into the city and unexpectedly crossed paths with Wim Hof.

Years ago, I trained with him and experienced firsthand the power of breath, resilience, and the body’s incredible capacity to adapt and heal. Today, we met again on a random street corner.

We exchanged a few words, acknowledged our shared paths, and I had the opportunity to thank him for the impact his work had on my own journey.

What struck me was the synchronicity of it all.

For two days, I had been teaching therapists about the protective strategies of the nervous system, how the body holds experience, and how healing begins when we create safety within ourselves. Then, I run into someone whose life’s work has also been about exploring the relationship between the mind, body, stress, and human potential.

Different roads. Similar questions.

How do we become more resilient?
How do we reconnect with ourselves?
How do we transform suffering into growth?

Amsterdam gave me an unexpected gift today.

A reminder that when we stay committed to our path, life has a way of reflecting it back to us in the most unexpected places.

Grateful for the conversation.
Grateful for the journey.
And grateful for all the teachers, known and unknown, who help us remember what we’re capable of.

What a privilege it was to be invited to teach a masterclass for the newest generation of Shiatsu therapists graduating from Heilpraktikerschule Luzern.

A heartfelt thank you to Katerina for the invitation, the trust, and for the incredible work she does in guiding students through their Shiatsu journey.

There is something deeply inspiring about being in a room filled with practitioners standing at the beginning of their professional path. Their curiosity, openness, passion, and willingness to learn reminded me why I fell in love with this work over 25 years ago.

During our time together, I had the opportunity to share elements of the NeuroPath Reset Method, exploring the relationship between trauma, protective patterns, chronic pain, and the wisdom held within the body.

What impressed me most was seeing how eager these future therapists are to move beyond techniques and truly understand the human being in front of them. This is where great Shiatsu begins—not with what we do to people, but with how deeply we learn to listen.

Thank you to all the graduates for your presence, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to explore new perspectives. I have no doubt that Shiatsu has a bright future in your hands.

I left feeling inspired, hopeful, and excited for what lies ahead for each of you.

Wishing you all success on your journey as practitioners and healers.

Lucerne, you were powerful.
This past weekend, we dove deep into the protective patterns of trauma, and every person in that room held courage like a beacon.

We witnessed how the body tells the story we often miss: subtle postures, frozen breaths, and the hidden physiology behind chronic pain and shutdown.
I’m in awe of how we unpacked these patterns—together, we reclaimed choice.

If you were there, what pattern shifted for you? And if you missed it—stay close—because the work is just beginning.

Next stop: Amsterdam, June 5-7. If Lucerne was this deep, Amsterdam will be even more electric.
Stay tuned.

Special thanks to Chrissochou Tingo, Melanie Trayers and Ninnenmann for your support and excellent professionalism. And for the honor and invitation .
