The Ninth Node Project is an audio generating environment that allows you to interact with textures and placements through bodily movements. Its unique multi-panning software sends sound through speakers which circle the room and allow the listener to perceive sound traveling in a 360-degree motion. A huge thanks from the Ninth Node team to Bass Coast Festival for having us back another year, to Hamish, April, & Poly for their hard work involved with the build, and to all the people that came out to to flail in the node.
This year was a huge step in the right direction for this project. In the future you can expect to see more installations around Vancouver & BC featuring the Ninth Node installation, as well as 360 degree surround sound live/pa environments. Details will be posted here.
