Today, our Canadian offices are closed as we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We pause to reflect, to honor Survivors, and to acknowledge the families and communities impacted by the legacy of residential schools. Our graphic draws inspiration from the Tree of Peace in the Survivor’s Flag — a powerful expression of remembrance and resilience. The Tree symbolizes unity, renewal, and protection, echoing the strength of Survivors and the generations that follow.

Terminus at District 56 is an award-winning five-storey office building in downtown Langford, BC that sets a precedent for seismic design in North America. Located in the most seismically active region of Canada, the project combines resilience and sustainability through a hybrid structural system that optimizes material use, simplifies detailing, and results in warm, open office spaces.

We’re proud to be part of two offsite project tours happening today as part of by . ASPECT Founding Principal Andrew Chad (featured above) will be leading a sold-out tour of Terminus.

🌊☀️ The Summer We Turned... Adventurous.
This summer, our teams across North America and Europe chased some new (and some not so new) experiences. From exploring coastlines to tackling trails, these outings were a chance to step outside our comfort zones, challenge ourselves, and strengthen our teams.
We tried new things, laughed harder than we expected, got a little sunburned, and may have even gotten lost on hiking trails once or twice… but that’s what made it so unforgettable. Every adventure brought us closer, the way only summer can.

The MarCom Diaries: Entering the Wild West 🌊🌆✨

to last week when our team (based in Toronto) swapped the hustle and bustle for the stunning landscapes of Vancouver. Our mission? To work hard and play harder. 💼🎉

As first-timers on the west coast, we dove right in: hiking, kayaking, running, biking, and honestly eating our way through the city. Swipe to see what we got up to during the week…. safe to say *mission accomplished*! ➡️

A big shoutout to ASPECT’s inter-engagement policy for making it all possible. We were able to pitch ideas, plan in person, and create deliverables with the Vancouver team in real time, all while exploring a new province. Talk about multitasking! 😎

Launched last year, this policy encourages team members to travel, build relationships, and work together out of our multiple offices, Vancouver, Toronto, and Bern.

So… where to next, team? Manifesting a Swiss/Euro tour in our future 👀✈️

📍Starting and ending at the Vancouver Convention Centre, we’re meeting at 6AM and leaving at 6:05AM sharp to be back in time for the scheduled breakfast.
