You can organize if your job DOESN’T suck too - to keep the things about it you love!

IATSE Local 938 is excited to invite members and non-members alike back to the Birdhouse for another quarterly Town Hall and Social!

This time, we’ll take a deeper dive into how workers can come together and build a better industry. Our presentation will cover:

* Existing union benefits like education, reimbursement, and the AFC emergency fund for entertainment workers.
* Benefits that will come soon, like pensions and a health plan
* The work done by our various union committees
* A Q&A with union organizers, executives and members for more in-depth answers

After that, we’ll ask you all to help us create a vision for an entertainment industry built by and for its workers - that’s us!

Finally, we’ll round out with a social event so that we can get to know each other better, and build a strong community within VFX, games, and animation!
