SAKI ROSE ! A phenomenal vocalist who I found on YouTube through their Dir en Grey covers back as far as 2020. Not only did they provide this song with an exceptional layer of depth and emotion with their guest vocals, they also translated certain parts of the lyrics to Japanese for me. This really helped strengthen the meaning of the song. Super thankful to have gotten the chance to work together with this amazing artist.

The release party was a huge success thanks to everyone who came out. It truly was a night to remember and you all made it so! I will never forget this epic night for the rest of my life.

We sold all our shirts and sweaters, tons of merch, had beer pong 2v2s, Arrhythmic Pulse trivia and even a Soul Calibur 3 tournament!

Finally there was a full album listen through together. It truly was an honor to share my greatest accomplishment with those I cherish.

Peril illustrated by Ilku on Instagram

This is not AI ⚠️

This piece was the first one I got commissioned back in 2019.
I didn't give Ilku many directions for this specific one, as I trusted their style fully. They have a very gentle touch to their work and I knew they could capture what I was looking for. It needed to be a girl with a blue and green eye, with the green eye tearing blood. 💧

The character pictured represents the opposing forces influencing the album's story protagonist. A blue eye and a green eye, representing the present and the past respectively. 🩵💚

I feel incredibly lucky to have all this art coming together to help paint the mood of this story. Ilku was the first one to listen to my ideas for the art and the first to return to me a piece of art that would inspire me to bolster myself and continue. 🍀

This piece is used in the lyric booklet for the song Peril, hence it's title. Peril also happened to be the first song I recorded on the album, as well as the most technical one by a long shot. Took nearly a year to finish recording this specific track. You can hear it on March 6th! 🥀
